It contains SPF15, to help prevent age spots, and makes mature skin feel more youthful.

A product description reads: “Olay Anti-Wrinkle Pro day cream is specifically designed to address the specific needs of mature skins and visibly reduce even deep wrinkles.

“Targeted Vitamin Complex, a sophisticated multi-vitamin blend of anti-ageing hero ingredients niacinamide, vitamin e and pro-vitamin B5, helps to protect the skin while intense hydration helps restore firmness and elasticity.

“As a result skin is more resilient, feels more bouncy and replumped and even deep wrinkles appear reduced.”

For best results, simply apply the cream to your face daily.

The anti-wrinkle cream can be purchased in store and online at Boots for just £7, and is available for next day delivery.

Shoppers have been raving about the cream on the Boots website.

One person said: “This us a lovely thick cream.

“My skin feels so soft, fresh and useful after using it.

“I am 56 and would like to keep my skin looking young and fresh for as long as I can”.

A second person said: “After reaching the big 50 I want to try a good skincare routine.

“I found my face drying out a lot more so I went for this moisturiser.

“It has a beautiful consistency, smells lovely and definitely improved the dryness. Highly recommend.”

The importance of sun cream in your skincare routine

Dermatologist and skincare enthusiast Andrea Suarez - known as Dr Dray - revealed why you should wear suncream.

The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference – and this matters for all ages – is protecting your skin from the sun, Andrea stressed.

“The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation,” she continued, not because you’re “not using some jazzy serum or layering 90 different things on your face everyday”.

“If you’re not doing in your 20s, get on that now.”

But she said the use of sun cream alone doesn’t go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing like broad-brimmed hats and long sleeves, on top of not staying out too long in the sun.

Doing this over your lifetime – and all year, not just during the summer or on sunny days – “will reduce the visible signs of photoageing”, Andrea said.

Those are wrinkles, muddled pigmentation and sagging skin.

A third remarked: “My mum is currently using this.

“She is 78 and said her skin feels great”.

A fourth said: “I bought this for my nan and she called me within days saying can I buy it monthly for her as it’s brilliant.”
