The store is currently running their Baby Event, which kicked off on 1st April[/caption]

As part of the supermarket’s Baby Event, which started on 1st April, the Graco TraveLite Umbrella Stroller is on sale for £39.99.

The ultra-efficient stroller is suitable for children from 0 to 3 years, and “boasts quick compact umbrella fold technology, adjustable calf support, built-in storage and multi seat position options”.

It isn’t heavy either – as it’s under 8kg in weight.

What’s more, the stroller is £30 cheaper than in Boots – where it’s being sold for 43 per cent more, at £79.99.

Other must-have items in the Baby event include the silicone bibs, mugs and plates, which are £3.99 each and come in a variety of different character designs.

There are also dribble bibs and muslins for £2.49, which are perfect for keeping any dinner mess at bay.

You can also pick up some Nuby weaning and teething accessories for £4.49 – with everything from teething mitts to coveralls.

After dinner, use the Hooded Bath Towel and Mitt – in a duck, elephant, flower or fox design – for £4.99.

Then you can get your little ones snuggly and ready for bed in a sleepsuit from a £5.49 two-pack, which come in sizes from 0-3 through to 12 to 18 months.

To keep your kids entertained, there are some Push & Pull Nursery RhymeBooks, for £1.99 each, as well as sensory baby toys for £5.99.

When's the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when shops open

Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”

That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.

Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.

You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.

They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible

And make sure your home stays neat and tidy with the nursery storage baskets, which come in at £7.99 for a pack of two.

As well as grabbing some Specialbuys, you can also make the most of your trip to Aldi by grabbing some of their award-winning Mamia range, including their Mamia newborn nappies – 85p for a 24-pack.
