A PROFESSIONAL hairdresser has revealed all of the hair products that she says are actually worth buying from Boots.
Hairdresser Mary, shared her list of recommended products via a video posted to her TikTok channel @thisgirldoeshair.
Mary is a fan of lots of Boots products[/caption] She recommended the Shea Moisture Treatment Masque[/caption]She often uses the account to post haircare tips and has racked up over 60,000 followers on the video sharing platform.
Mary said that most hairdressers will tell you that ‘nothing in Boots is worth spending your money on’ but that she believes its a great place to grab haircare products.
The first thing that Mary recommended is the Arkive range by Adam Reed.
Mary said that the whole range is worth trying, but said that a highlight is the Good Habit Hybrid oil, which costs just £3.
The hairdresser’s next recommendation is the Umberto Giannini Scalp Scrub, which is priced at just £6.63.
She also swears by the L’Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil 10-in-1 Miracle Treatment Leave-In Spray which is priced at £9.99.
Mary said its her go to leave in treatment and her best recommendation as it’s a dupe of a Redken product that she uses in her salon,
Wella Deluxe Rich Oil is Mary’s affordable oil recommendation, and can be picked up in store for £7.99.
She also raved about the £5.99 got2b Heat Protection Spray Guardian Angel and the £8.66 Shea Moisture Treatment mask, which she said is a great scalp treatment for thick and curly hair.
She said: “It’s got peppermint and apple cider vinegar in it, which is really great for the scalp and shea butter to nourish the roots.
Mary is also a fan of Klorane products, including their dry shampoo which is priced at £11.50 and their detox shampoo.
L’Oreal Elvive Bond Repair is yet another product that Mary can’t get enough of, and which she said is a dupe of Olaplex No.3.
She recommended using the £6.99 buy after you’ve shampooed as a repairing treatment.
Another of Mary’s L’Oréal recommendations is the £4 Elvive extraordinary hair oil, which she said is a dupe of the Kerastase oil and Moroccan oil.
“Don’t waste your money on these things because this is basically the same thing”, she said.
Mary also noted that the Herbal Essences range and the Garnier Ultimate Blends range are really good.
The hairdresser’s TikTok has likely left many impressed, as it has racked up over 2.2 million views.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.
