The mask has been doing the rounds on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook… you may have even toyed with the idea of buying it already.

And luckily, not only is it currently on sale in Boots for £6.50, its hair-healing properties have been backed by countless women.

The product in question is Garnier’s Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask Treatment.

Shoppers have reviewed the “divine smelling” product, beaming that it “lives up to the hype” and delivers “incredible results”.

What’s more, it’s been hailed a hero for detangling and knots by “working magic in just five minutes”.

Bosses at the haircare brand said the banana mask is “boosted with Vitamins C, E and F for your healthiest hair ever” – hence the rave reviews.

“Vitamin C is known for intense shine, Vitamin E makes hair feel moisturised and Vitamin F makes hair look stronger,” they explained.

“Blended in our best-rated formula with nourishing shea butter and natural oils.

“In a consumer test, four out of five people agree their hair is the healthiest it’s ever felt.”

The brand claims that just one use of the mask will make your hair a whopping seven times smoother.

WHAT MAKES IT SO SPECIAL?

What really sets Garnier’s Ultimate Blends Hair Food Banana 3-in-1 Dry Hair Mask Treatment apart is its silicone-free formula.

Silicones, particularly non-water-soluble silicones, like dimethicone, can build up on the hair over time.

This buildup can weigh down the hair, making it look limp and dull.

Hairdressers even warn that silicone can destroy your tresses.

It can also create a barrier that prevents moisture from penetrating the hair shaft, leading to dryness and potential damage.

What’s more, silicone coatings on the hair shaft can prevent moisture from penetrating the hair, which can lead to dryness and brittleness over time.

So when looking for things to add to your haircare arsenal, try to reach for silicone free products – like Garnier’s banana mask.
