IF you are looking to stock up on beauty items you may wish to pop to your local Boots.
The chain is currently having a super sale with 90 per cent off deals – and one woman showed how she covered her entire sofa with Boots products.
After stocking up on items as low as 50p, she saved a whopping £1,100 on her bargain buys.
Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she uploaded photos of her huge haul.
She wrote: “Boots 90 per cent sale, a huge saving of just over £1,100.”
Included in her finds were Disney, Harry Potter and Squid Games branded goodies that could no doubt be used for presents throughout the year.
Alongside a Lilo and Stitch pencil case, she also got multiple sets of wizard-themed hand cream that were £10 down to £1.
She also got stylish Gaia candles, which looked perfect for a bathroom or lounge.
The woman also didn’t need to worry about make-up for a while, snapping up three huge sets that used to be £100 each but were 90 per cent off and down to £10.
The savvy saver also got some FCUK beauty giftboxes – £2.80 down from £28 – and some festival-style stick-on glitter.
Meanwhile, there were also some tasty treats in the Boots sale, with Grow Your Own Biscuit sets and some Leon products.
In total she saved a staggering £1,100 and was delighted with her finds.
After sharing her post with fellow bargain hunters, it has racked up over 720 likes and people were quick to comment.
One said: “Good haul well done.”
Another added: “This is actually crazy!”
And a third commented: “Incredible ! praying that’s still on tomorrow in my local.”
However, one person shared: “Ours had nothing.”
The sale includes candles, perfumes, make-up and gift sets from brands including Soap & Glory, No7, Disney and FCUK, as shoppers flood social media with photos of their rock-bottom finds.
Free items hack
One mum has revealed the easy way she got piles of beauty buys, including viral anti-ageing skincare, totally for free.
One of them, thrifty mum Claire, took to TikTok to show off her epic bargain finds – which the lucky Boots customer didn’t spend a single penny on.
All chuffed on her jaw-dropping haul, the Manchester-based mum claimed the total costs of everything she had snapped up should’ve been £110.
However, as Claire had racked up enough points earnt from Scan2Recycle, she was able to bag it all completely free of charge.
The health and beauty retailer runs a scheme where you can return make-up empties and baby wipe packets in exchange for cash to spend in store.
Every five items you return will earn you the equivalent of £5.
The only catch is you have to be an Advantage Card member to benefit from the scheme.
It’s all thanks to the Recycle at Boots scheme.
The planet-focused initiative allows shoppers to exchange empty beauty, health and dental items in-store that can’t be recycled at home.
In return, and after a £10 shop and recycling a minimum of five products, you will receive £5 worth of Advantage Card points for free.
It might not seem a lot, but Claire was able to walk home with piles of viral goodies, including anti-ageing skincare, without having to fork out a penny.
